 A little disappointing not vfm 2010-02-17 I bought this for my 4yr old as a means to speed up the school run. He already owned a conventional character scooter - which was good for going around the park etc but I felt he was ready for something a little bigger & I wanted something foldable. On the plus side the scooter looks great, it is height adjustable and folds so it is easy to carry home after dropping my boy at school. My son has trouble with the steering as its not the conventional turn of the handle bars, you turn by moving your weight, which I was aware of before buying - but as he could scoot with ease using a conventional scooter he's finding the transition v tricky -my older boys have no such problem. The turning circle is that of a tank, it is much easier to stop and move manually if you wanted to turn around. The suspension is not as good as I was expecting. Folding it the first few times is v difficult. An adult has to stand on it with both feet & really pull hard. It has got easier with time. To summarise I would say that when comparing this to the micro scooter sold by johnlewis it falls short. | ||
 Great Scooter Excellent Quality 2010-02-15 Very well built with adjustable handle bars it means it can be used by my young son as well as my older daughter. Handle is also foldable and can easily fit in my mini car boot. | ||
 Awful 2010-02-09 I was very disappointed with this scooter - bought it for my 3 year old, as per the glowing recommendation in the description, but he couldn't ride it, nor could my 5 year old very well, and I fell off it even. The turning mechanism seems to be a positive feedback loop - you wobble a bit to one side, that turns the wheels and the entire base in that direction, so you fall even further to the side and either jump off or fall off! Maybe there's a knack to it that we didn't have, but it seems really unsafe to me. | ||
